For qualified early years teachers

Our services

We offer you:

  • Assurance your qualifications meet the Australian requirements
  • Interviews with prospective ECEs or schools that we have vetted
  • Placement in a school or early childhood setting as a qualified teacher
  • Negotiation of a salary at above award rates
  • Induction to the Australian education sector
  • Assistance with accommodation and acclimatisation
  • Undertake the visa process for you prior to your arrival
  • As we operate under a labour hire firm all of your recruiting and placement is done through Teach in Australia

Visas

All visas are managed through Boyd Migration and Legal under the guidance of their senior immigration lawyer, Samuel Brouff.

We operate with a On Hire Labour Agreement (OHLA) so all of your recruitment, placement and visa is done through Teach in Australia. Alternatively, we can arrange direct visa sponsorship with an employer.

Please note:

  • Navigating Australia’s migration system alone can be time-consuming and unpredictable
  •  We assist education professionals with skill assessments and visa applications
  •  We have a long history of bringing educators to Australia - this experience guarantees security and peace of mind in what can seem like a daunting process
  • Allowing us to walk you through the experience gives you certainty about the process
  • A major additional benefit of being sponsored through our company, rather than an individual school or centre, means that you are not tied to one location only
  • If you are sponsored by a school or institution, they are responsible for you for the duration of your visa and we can support this process too
  • By working with us, you have the access to a wide network of schools across Australia throughout the life of your visa
  • We are also able to support you through permanent residency and Australian citizenship should you chose in the future by guiding you through into direct sponsorship or independent pathways.

Support

Our education specialist Dr Deborah Harcourt from Asia Pacific Early Childhood Consultants will guide you through the Australian Curriculum and /or the Early Years Learning Framework and is available to answer any curriculum questions you may have throughout your tenure at an ECE or school.

Process

We have a simple and streamlined process in place for you:

  • Make contact with us to discuss your interest in teaching in Australia
  • We will ask you to send us your latest resume and description of the role you are seeking
  • Deborah will interview you to gather more details about your preferences
  • We will then seek a match for you with an early years setting, who you will initially interview you via Zoom
  • We will offer you the contracts that are made available to us via potential employers
  • Teach in Australia will then manage your visa process
  • Once we have a match and a visa you are off and running with your new employer!
